1 message(s) about Marsden Road

  1. Revd Dr Bill Ives

Marsden Road Church remains in my memory because I was minister of St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Eastwood when both congregations became a part of the Eastwood Uniting Church in 1977. In those days I recall there was a monthly exchange of pulpits amongst the four congregations, Lakeside, St Andrew’s, Denistone East and Marsden Road. Thus I had the joy of leading worship at Marsden Road from time to time. Those occasions were experiences of faith and fellowship and I formed a rich relationship with many members there during the years until in 1991 I left Eastwood to become minister at St Columba’s, Woollahra. I praise and thank God for my association with Marsden Road Church and pray for it God’s continued rich blessing that it may continue to be a blessing as it seeks to fulfil God’s purpose through its life.
