    Lifeline

CeremonyCast is proud to support a range of Australian charities helping people through different end of life issues.

We see at first-hand the inspiring work they do in the community by helping people to navigate grief and bereavement, offering practical care after someone dies, reaching out to those in personal crisis, guiding those on their final journey, or advocating on important issues around death and dying. We are glad to give back by regularly donating to these deserving causes.

Over the past few months as we’ve all had to cope with extended lockdowns due to COVID, we’ve livestreamed funeral ceremonies for people who found it too difficult, and who took their own life. One was still a teenager. We recognise that mental health is an issue that needs constant discussion and we decided this month’s donation should go to Lifeline.

Every 30 seconds, a person in Australia reaches out to Lifeline for help. Lifeline is a national charity providing all Australians experiencing emotional distress with access to 24 hour crisis support and suicide prevention services. Lifeline exists so that no person in Australia has to face their darkest moments alone.
