This month we’re supporting the newly opened Qtopia Sydney, by giving our time through volunteering.

Instead of donating money, we’ve been donating some of our time to a new LGBTIQA+ culture and history centre. Stephen has been helping to prepare the venue and exhibits for the launch, as well as working as an Exhibition Guide.

On its website, Qtopia Sydney says, “It is a welcoming and inclusive space devoted to the memory, education and celebration of the unique histories and lived experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community.

A true cultural hub encompassing four unique locations, we have the largest footprint of any Queer Centre of History and Culture in the world. We are storytellers committed to the core principles of empowerment and inclusivity.

Our commitment lies in storytelling, rooted in the fundamental principles of empowerment and inclusiveness. Ours is an interactive environment dedicated to preserving and celebrating the distinctive histories and lived experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community in this country – via exhibitions, live performances, educational initiatives, events and corporate programs.

In telling our story, we respect and pay homage to those who have also struggled to find their place and we join them in solidarity and a commitment to a shared future.”

CeremonyCast is proud to support a range of Australian charities helping people through different life issues.

We see at first-hand the inspiring work they do in the community by helping people to navigate grief and bereavement, offering practical care after someone dies, reaching out to those in personal crisis, guiding those on their final journey, or advocating on important issues. We are glad to give back by regularly donating to these deserving causes.
